Valerie Jackson is an accomplished developer, Project Manager and Business Owner with over three decades of IT acumen. Her career commenced in 1990 following her studies in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science in the United States, after which she worked with the US Department of Defence and HM Treasury.
Her career has taken her across the US, Italy and Germany, though she has called the UK home for the past 30 years. Her diverse professional background includes founding her own SAP consultancy, where she worked with multiple Fortune 500 companies including Ericsson, Siemens and Unilever. Additionally, she technically supported small businesses and served as a Business Manager for Brickfield Surveyors Ltd, demonstrating her versatility and leadership in different business environments.
Currently, Valerie is a Technical Project Manager at Wolfram Research, based near Oxford, whose external projects leverage Wolfram’s cutting-edge technologies in data science, machine learning and LLMs. In this role, she oversees the Project Management Office to deliver innovative solutions to customers in the technology, education, healthcare and finance sectors.
