Coco is a neuroscientist and entrepreneur focused on finding ways to detect dementia earlier. Her PhD at the University of Cambridge explored new cognitive diagnostic tests for Alzheimer’s disease dementia, which she is currently translating to healthcare as co-founder of early spin-out Fathom Cognition. Coco also works in the digital tool selection hub of EDoN, an organisation spearheaded by Alzheimer’s Research UK with a mission to create a wearable digital toolkit for remote and early dementia detection. Alongside research, Coco trained in entrepreneurship through programmes by the Cambridge Judge Business School and Cambridge Gravity, including EnterpriseTECH STAR, Accelerate Cambridge, and Biospark.
