Dr Owen Metters is an Investment Manager in the Deep Tech team at Octopus Ventures, one of the most prolific venture capital investors in Europe. He sits on the board of start-up companies in the fields of robotics, semiconductors, materials chemistry, and quantum computing. Owen was previously part of the investment team running the Foresight WAE Technology Funds and has spent time in technology transfer at the University of Oxford.
He has a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Bristol having carried out research in the fields of catalysis and main group polymer chemistry.
