Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority

Founded in 2017 through a devolution agreement with the UK Government, the Combined Authority brings together seven councils to make decisions locally, shaping the future of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

We lead on transport, infrastructure, planning, business support, and adult education, with a strong focus on developing tech and innovation skills to power the region’s economy. Funded through devolved budgets and a £20 million annual investment, we deliver strategic projects and advocate for the region to attract investment, tackle inequality, and address climate challenges.

Governed by a directly elected Mayor and a board of regional leaders, we work collaboratively to create better jobs, housing, skills, and transport for all.
