CORE has been set up to create and trial a 5G Open RAN network in Cambridge
Cambridgeshire Open RAN Ecosystem (CORE) Project, led by Connecting Cambridgeshire, is bringing together technology companies, universities, and mobile network operators to create and trial a new, advanced 5G Open Radio Access Network (Open RAN) platform in Cambridge. Open RAN is a new approach to investing and deploying radio access networks making it more affordable and scalable.
Project partners AWTG, Benetel and Wolfram will be attending Innovation Alley as well as Connecting Cambridgeshire representatives.
