The LSIP addresses critical skills shortages, which is a top recruitment challenge identified in regional economic surveys. Funded by the Department for Education, the LSIP prioritises employer needs and encourages dynamic partnerships between businesses and education providers. By ensuring that skills provision aligns with local labour market demands, the Chamber aims to strengthen the region’s workforce and support sustainable economic growth.
