Virginia Beach is a fast-growing hub for the U.S. technology sector, especially around cybersecurity, unmanned systems, cloud analytics, and software and applications. Located just south of Washington D.C., the City is roughly the size of Bristol.
More than 28,000 people work in the tech industry including 7,000 in cybersecurity. The area’s growth can be attributed to its high bandwidth infrastructure, and its strong talent pool with several universities and colleges providing degrees in a range of IT related fields.
The City provides a high level of support for UK and other overseas companies, including an incentivised International Incubator facility with access to a network of business resources to ensure success.
