Millennium Technology Prize

Innovation Alley: Startup - Enter Espoo Zone

The Millennium Technology Prize is the world’s leading award for technological innovations and a global symbol of Finland’s core values: science-based development, education, and innovations that advance humanity and the well-being of our planet. The prize amount is one million euros, and it has been awarded every two years since 2004 by Technology Academy Finland (TAF).

At Cambridge Tech Week 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in a competition organized jointly by the Millennium Technology Prize and Work in Finland, and win an unforgettable trip to Finland in June 2027. The winners will experience firsthand Finland’s innovation ecosystem, meet key ecosystem players, and attend the Millennium Technology Prize Forum and the 2027 Award Ceremony in Helsinki.
