CTW Founder & CEO, Women4Technology
The inaugural Cambridge Tech Week (CTW) was the brainchild of Ann Fisher, co-founder of Bailey Fisher Executive Search who has worked with technology companies for over 20 years. During the first lockdown in 2020 Ann had time to reflect and formed the idea of holding a week-long celebration of Cambridge’s brilliant tech businesses and wider ecosystem, as a heartfelt, personal ‘thank you’ to a city and region that has supported her and her husband whilst running their previous business. She is passionate about the technology market, especially when it is used for good and wanted to see Cambridge unite to celebrate its global success and help future generations achieve their dreams. Sadly, Ann was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2022 and after major surgery has had to take a step back from work and the day to day running of CTW. She has handed the CTW reins to CW who she has been involved with for many years as a Board member and SIG champion.

Cambridge is one of the world’s most important science and technology ecosystems, and this year’s Cambridge Tech Week theme places a vital question at the centre of the conversation: how deep tech is reshaping industries, economies and society. It is exactly the kind of discussion that matters to technology companies, governments, and communities alike. I’m delighted to be an ambassador for CamTechWeek and look forward to joining what promises to be an outstanding programme of ideas, insights and connections. I hope to see many of the world’s leading technology thinkers and innovators in Cambridge this September.

Founder, Project Cambridge
I’m Cambridge born, with a vast network of local connections. I care about my home town and am committed to helping it ‘grow’ - but inclusively and without barriers.
2026 will be my third Cambridge Tech Week and this year, I'm over the moon to be involved as an Ambassador. I'm super-enthusiastic about Cambridge's tech ecosystem and I'm proud to shout loudly about this extraordinary week of events and demonstrate to everyone how they can get involved and be part of the week's agenda. There's something for everyone!
