AI is already transforming healthcare - but with such a vast and fast-moving field, it’s critical to cut through the hype and focus on where true impact is being made.

In this session, held in The Guildhall on Market Square, we’ll dive into the practical, high-potential applications of AI in Med Tech and Health Tech specifically, how it's enabling innovation through sensors and data, rather than through biologics or chemical pathways.

We’ll begin by setting the scene, offering a clear and rigorous framework for understanding where different types of AI-enabled interventions sit in both the technology stack and the healthcare value chain.

From hardware acceleration (think: Nvidia and edge AI) to generative tools and clinical platforms, we’ll explore how emerging technologies map across functions like diagnostics, prognostics, and therapeutic interventions - providing attendees with a sharp, strategic lens to view what follows.

Expect real-world use cases, insights from leaders shaping the next wave of AI-powered clinical tools, and a deep dive into the new frontier of data-centric AI.

These sessions will offer both strategic context and tangible examples, helping attendees understand not only what’s happening now, but where the smart money and transformative breakthroughs are headed next.

This is AI in health, decoded for decision-makers.
