The Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) works in partnership with employers, training providers, and local authorities to shape a future-ready workforce across our region. By placing the employer’s voice at the centre, the LSIP ensures that education and training provision reflects the real needs of businesses, tackling skills gaps in areas such as digital, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and agri-tech.

Representing the LSIP locally, the Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce supports economic growth by giving businesses a strong voice, delivering services, and creating over 100 networking opportunities each year. Together, the Chamber and LSIP strengthen the skills sector and help businesses access the talent they need to innovate, grow, and succeed.
